Academic Program

YISS offers a wide range of courses in the arts, culture, and humanities, Asian and Korean studies, international politics and economics, global management, science and technology, and environmental studies.

UGA students must complete a Transfer Credit Approval Form at least three weeks prior to their program start date.  This form serves to keep the student enrolled at UGA and enables the distribution of financial aid including the HOPE and Zell Miller scholarships.

For further information on what we will be offering in 2016, please see our course pages: http://summer.yonsei.ac.kr/main/course.asp?mid=s2_2

Housing and Meals

During the 2015 Yonsei International Summer School, 500 spaces were arranged for summer school students at on-campus housing facilities, International House and SK Global House. They are both located very close to the New Millennium Hall, where many of YISS classes will be held. Therefore, residents would enjoy their living experience within convenient and comfortable environment and global community network.

Due to a limited number of rooms, we strongly recommend applying for on-campus housing as soon as you receive your admission number from YISS. However, if you fail to get a room or want to stay in off-campus housing, you can refer to the following website for temporary housing and useful information. Please be advised that the YISS will not arrange off-campus housing for students.

For more information on the types of housing available, please visit:

Program Costs

Students pay Yonsei university tuition and student fees, not UGA tuition and fees.  Financial Aid such as HOPE, Zell Miller and student loans can be applied to the program.  See the financial aid section of GoAbroad.uga.edu for more information.

Please see Yonsei University’s Fees page for current costs.
