Final Reflection Questions
What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
DO IT! I grew so, so incredibly much as a person and as cliche as that sounds it's true--you are thrown into an environment where you are forced to adjust and adapt and there is a lot of growth as a result.

What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
Studying abroad in Ireland was very ideal for studying journalism. The community was very nice, and from my experience they were very willing to give us interviews. It also helped that they spoke English. As a first time study abroad student, I highly recommend this program.

I feel even more in love with my major (journalism) and have a renewed appreciation for it. Coming off study abroad I feel more driven to accomplish my goals. Thank you Kate and Dr. Rhodes!!

How did the experience impact you and your future educational/career/personal goals?
This experience has definitely solidified my goals of becoming a journalist. I was a bit nervous about going to Ireland with everything that's been going on recently in the news, but when I was in Dublin, I felt like I was in the safest place in the world. The Dublin locals truly made the whole experience, and talking to them made me realize how much I like interviewing people and learning more about cultures and customs.

How did the experience impact you and your future educational/career/personal goals?
The experience definitely solidified my love and drive to be in the field that I am in. Networking abroad allowed me to make connections with individuals who could open doors for possible opportunities in the future. If anything, you walk away with 15 new friends from your program and journalism experience.
