What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?

What were the most significant take-aways from your experience?
My Spanish improved so much from the very first day to the last. Also, I learned for the first time what it is really like living outside the USA, as this was my first extended period in another country. I learned a ton about the Argentinian culture and history, and feel like I'm now connected to the country and I can't wait to return.
— John Busby, Summer 2017
What are your words of advice to students considering this program?
Practice you Spanish as much as possible beforehand. Also, don't be afraid to mess up. The people who are the most courageous with their Spanish are the ones who improved the most. Also, prepare yourself to have as many conversations as possible.
