The classes were intense in the best possible way: professors were always challenging you to think critically and make new connections. My classes in Oxford are the best ones I've ever taken!

Experts, put in the work and the professors will certainly reward your efforts with their knowledge....enjoyed every minute class.

Oxford and London are true melting pots and we were afforded to interact with a variety of good people of all walks.

Thomas Joseph Woodyard, Summer 2017 Participant
We had plenty of time to explore Oxford and I also got the opportunity to talk with some locals on the excursions - particularly Blenheim Palace where Katharine conversed with me while giving me a touch tour so I could fully experience the museum.

The program staff was amazing and made the trip that much more enjoyable.

The UGA at Oxford Junemester Program was amazing working with me to facilitate media, housing and transportation accommodations because of my visual impairment. I could not be any happier or more impressed with the effort they devoted working with UGA's DRC (particularly Alternative Media) to make any and all necessary accommodations so that while I was in Oxford I could fully access all curriculum, excursions and class experiences! Thank you all so very!

Megan Nicole Bullock, Summer 2016 Participant
We received so many trips and opportunities throughout the course of the program. It was by far the greatest investment I have ever made.

Virginia Christine Harvey, Summer 2017 Participant
Definitely worth the price! I feel like we got more out of the trip than what we paid for, completely exceeded expectations

David Patrick Lane, Summer 2017 Participant
Very inexpensive, high bang for the buck program.

I wish I could spend another week at the program. Very fun indeed.

David Patrick Lane, Summer 2017 Participant
Thank you for all the hard work and the opportunity to enjoy Oxford and the areas we visited.

Don't bring a large suitcase! The pharmacy in Oxford has literally everything, even specific makeup products that can only be found at Ulta in the U.S. England has so many of the same brand names for hygiene products that can be found back home such as Aveeno, Dove, Herbal Essences, etc, so there's really no need to bring any of those kinds of things to Oxford. Also definitely don't overpack, as the laundry facilities at the UGA center are better than the ones on campus in Athens. I wish I'd brought a duffel bag with 4-5 outfits, as well as a nice outfit and a few smaller items. Lifts, or, elevators are extremely hard to come by in the U.K., and lugging a giant suitcase up 3 flights stairs at the UGA center was quite a hassle, so definitely come prepared.

David Patrick Lane, Summer 2017 Participant
Go...find a way and go.

Abigail Christine Skinner, Summer 2017 Participant
Do your work in advance where you can spend your time soaking in England once you're at Oxford! Be ready for discussion!

Megan Nicole Bullock, Summer 2016 Participant
The opportunity to study abroad with the University of Georgia at Oxford was an incredible and unforgettable experience.

Michael Joseph Johnson, Summer 2016 Participant
The amount of places we visited that directly related to the class material was amazing. It really put things into context and made me enjoy class discussion more than I usually would.

Marisa Kaye Pyle, Summer 2016 Participant
Studying abroad made me more confident in myself academically and personally.

Christopher Ryan Reed, Summer 2016 Participant
Go on this trip!

This program gave me the perfect amount of cultural immersion while combining unique experiences that were enjoyable and educational. I would recommend the Oxford Junemester Program for anyone looking to travel abroad for a short amount of time while getting the most out of every second.

Summer 2017 Participant
This was the best decision I ever made.

Jack Egan Hafer, Summer 2017 Participant
Perhaps the most interesting and enjoyable academic experience of my entire life.

Virginia Christine Harvey, Summer 2017 Participant
I loved doing the Junemester program! It's only for a few weeks, but just long enough to discover your favorite hangouts around Oxford and completely fall in love with the city!

Prepare to have your expectations exceeded and your mind broadened. After studying at Oxford, I realized that the opportunity is priceless. The quality of the classes, and the general atmosphere of Oxford is truly worth every cent. Through my time there, I experienced a thirst for learning and a reawakened passion for knowledge that I had been lacking. Oxford provides you the chance to learn in and out of the classroom, and to widen your perception of culture. Regardless of how long you're there, Oxford always leaves you wanting more.

David Patrick Lane, Summer 2017 Participant
You can spend your summer at the beach, pool, lake or be exposed to an academic powerhouse, Oxford. Follow a different path and you will find different opportunities will be afforded to you. The game is worldwide, don't be left on the sidelines.

Abigail Christine Skinner, Summer 2017 Participant
Be ready for 2 weeks of exploring England, getting to know your professors, trying new foods, and wishing you could stay at Oxford forever! Doing all of my schoolwork in May made me ready for in-depth discussions on my Junemester and also allowed me to enjoy the present rather than worrying about my assignments. It was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend the Junemster program to anyone! I'm a Marketing and Public Relations major, but I loved getting the chance to take History and English classes because all the material related to the places we were getting to see in real life. I think it only makes sense to take these classes while at Oxford because they both helped me really become aware of the history and new culture I was seeing everyday.

Those who have taken a study abroad trip will say that it is truly a life changing experience, but until you set foot into this new, unexplored space you do not truly understand how this experience can enhance your life.
