AIFS American Institute for Foreign Study

Eligibility: AIFS operates study abroad programs in over 20 countries, including: Australia, Austria, Botswana, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Peru, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, & Multi-country programs in Europe.

Amount: Automatic Discount for UGA students: 
-$400 for semester programs 
-$200 for summer programs

IAU College Meredith Hope Emerson French Honors Scholarship

Eligibility: IAU College, with study abroad programs in Aix-en-Provence, France, is proud to introduce the Meredith Hope Emerson French Honors Scholarship Program for qualified UGA students interested in a semester or summer abroad with IAU College. The Scholarship Program, created in memory of Meredith - who was a former IAU French Honors Student - offers two half-tuition semester scholarships and one half-tuition summer scholarship for qualified UGA French students enrolled in IAU College French Studies classes.

Amount: Two semester scholarships, worth $5,200 each, are available. The summer scholarship, worth $2,100, will be awarded based on merit.

Eligibility: Ambassador Awards for University of New Orleans summer program in Innsbruck, Austria. Awards based on academic achievement and financial need. 3.0 minimum GPA. Undergraduates only.

Amount: Includes a stipend of up to $3,000 and some hours helping the program staff while abroad.
